OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCE

Spaldings standard replacement parts are produced to the highest specification from the best quality, wear resistant materials such as Boron steel, Chrome Moly steel or ADI, which is then heat treated in a carefully controlled environment to produce parts with maximum hardness and strength.

Many standard replacement parts are also unique to Spaldings having been re-engineered following extensive field tests, to ensure greater performance. Spaldings standard replacement parts offer outstanding performance and value.

DURAFACED® PARTS

OUR TOUGHEST COATING YET

All Spaldings Durafaced® parts are coated with our latest Durafaced Plus material which contains 18% Tungsten Carbide chips giving far greater performance than many standard coatings offered by our competitors.

All our Durafaced® parts are heat treated after coating to maintain the full hardness of the high grade Boron Steel base material.

Spalding offer an extensive range of Durafaced® parts, all of which are coated on both sides or double dipped, with plough points also spray coated in the centre for maximum performance.

Durafaced® parts are suitable for all soil types and give outstanding performance even in stony conditions.

TUNGSTEN PARTS

HIGH GRADE MATERIALS

Spaldings Tungsten Carbide range provides long working life ensuring efficiency savings in operating costs and downtime. Our high grade Tungsten Carbide tiles are specified to give the best balance of both wear and impact resistance and can provide up to 10 times the life of a standard part. The hardness of Spaldings Tungsten Carbide falls between 8.5 and 9.0 on Moh’s hardness scale, making it almost as hard as diamond.

Spaldings offer a wide range of popular parts with a Tungsten Carbide option. Our most popular plough points are also available with a Hardfacing option behind the Tungsten Carbide to further increase working life.

Spaldings Tunsten Carbide parts are suitable for all soil types with the exception of very stony ground.

Short production runs are used for field trials to ensure each new part adds real value. With SPL Ultra parts you can take advantage of enhanced performance in the field; meaning cultivation operations can be carried out more cost effectively.
